TIME AND CHARGES
In a time-bending adventure through the parallel universes of money and love, Ernest Thompson plays Jeremiah Ward, a man so driven by his insatiable demons that he literally can't stay on the road. This independent production, now shooting through Whitebridge Farm Productions, also offers select opportunities for students in acting, writing and directing to learn the process, as well as postions for interns interested in volunteering their time and talents.  www.WhitebridgeFarmProductions.com

ELYSIAN FARM

Mr. Thompson directs his new screenplay, a story of heartbreak and cruelty, courage and redemption, when a man rescues a little girl from her abusive home and finds himself accused of kidnapping her. Terrifying, touching and with the same rich humor of ON GOLDEN POND, ELYSIAN FARM is a hard but ultimately hopeful look at what heroism really is and, particularly in today's culture of fractured families and economic pressures and technological isolation, how crucial it is to take a stand on behalf of society's most vulnerable.

HUMAN BEINGS
Recently workshopped as a class at Plymouth State University, NH, Ernest Thompson directs one of his earliest and most controversial plays.  Depicting the wildly inhumane  treatment of three mysterious captives by their heartless jailors, this piece challenges the audience to question  who the humans are and why we treat one another the way we do.  Boston dates TBA.

KULTALAMPI
ON GOLDEN POND returns to Scandanavia, now playing in Oulu, Finland.  Starring Jorma Koho and Tuula Meisaari.

SISTA SOMMAREN
And, starting May 28, 2010, in Stockholm, Sweden, directed by Bjorn Gustafson.

DAS HAUS AM SEE
ON GOLDEN POND returns to Germany, this time in a major production in Berlin, opening September 2010.

AX OF LOVE
Karen Black stars in this 30 year journey through the brutality of love. AX OF LOVE looks deep into the fear and anger, angst and stubborn hopefulness that define our lives. Not for the faint-hearted, this play includes no shortage of violence, language, sexual content and even euthanasia, and plenty of biting humor. Playing in LA, dates TBA.

SOME PARTS MISSING
In Mr. Thompson's newest play, two
one-time close friends discover their limitations in trying to assemble a basketball backboard for one character's young son and, in the process, find out what's missing in their lives and the life of a mysterious young woman who comes floating into their troubled world.
